Default difference in torch heads??

i got a torch head that came with a propane torch i bought awhile back. i tried brazing with it using 1/8" flux coated brazing rod, and it wont get hot enough. yes im using mapp gas

do i need a different torch head?

Best set-up I've used is a Turbo-Torch with B-Tank . Can find these at any HVAC / Plumbing Supply. MAPP never got hot enough for me.

that size brazin rod is really for full size oxy set up, you really need safety silv with a mapp torch........bob

im using 3/32" flux coated brazing rod and it works pretty sweet. i have a bernzomatic oxy/ace torch from canadian tire.
