| Dont want to spend more than you need to on some mysterious gear lube?
Then do what I did, figure out what the application needs and go from there. I dont have a good feeling paying $15 for a syringe of a mysterious "gel" that claims to be the best when I know it came in another container to begin with and isnt anything but EP lube that's been around for a long time. The blue VP grease is a joke and after looking at what you get in the form of "gel" or "jelly", I remembered what I use to build engines with. http://cmdlubeoil.com/extreme_pressure_lubricants.html And for a price comparison: Livernois CMD Anti-Scoring Extreme Pressure Lube #3 - Livernois Motorsports It's a little bigger than a tube of tooth paste. Much more reasonably priced and enough to build quite a few engines, put all over your RC car gears and whatever else needs the good stuff! I've been using it for a few weeks and just like the "best" stuff out there, it stays on the surface you put it on and doesnt sling off much at all. |

This isnt your standard wheel bearing grease, marine grease or anything else you can get at wally world. But, since you didnt click any of the links, I'll put it here: "CMD anti-scoring lubricants are not ordinary lubricants. They are compounded of highly refined petroleum products containing no lead, graphite or minerals. They will not corrode the finest surfaces nor will they mulsify with cooling liquids. But these facts are not the most remarkable feature of CMD lubricants. The truly outstanding property of CMD is its ability to withstand extreme pressures! The thousands of firms who have used CMD have discovered that commonly used lubricants will provide a lubricating film at pressures of 500, 1000, 5000 and even 10,000 psi. By contrast, CMD EXTREME PRESSURE lubricants are regularly used from 40,000 to 50,000 psi." |

Mobile crimson works awesome for me and does not sling either. Super hard to get off once applied.
