At least four good hex drivers: .05", 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm. A small Philips screw driver. A socket set for wheels and nuts... A 4 headed tool generally come with kits and rtr's, but I've never actually bought a new in box Axial so... Needle nose plyers. Depending on your electronics, you may need a soldering iron, buy a good one because a cheap one is just frustrating. Not necessary but will help: a couple sizes of small needle nose plyers and vice grips. A Dremel is a very handy tool if you really get into the hobby. An extending magnet. A Cow RC magnetic work mat. That should get ya going Last edited by johnnyh66; 05-16-2012 at 09:19 PM. |

For the dingo kit you will need a long 2mm hex(allen wrench), I think, for building the drive shafts. You need a hex long enough to reach all through half of the drive shaft to attach the universals to the drive shaft half at each end. I'm pretty sure it is the 2mm hex.
