Got to buy 3 oz tho but $99 shipped for 3 oz is not bad. Welding Brazing Alloys | Oxy-Acetylene Brazing Alloys Anybody finding it any cheeper? |

I have only just started looking into brazing and was wondering how long 3oz of the Sarety-Silv will last. I had no idea what the price was. I take it this is a good price?

That's a decent price. I use about 1 oz. on a typical tube chassis. You use less the better you get.

That is about as cheap as I've seen it - I think it was $95 for a roll last time I got some at my local oxygen supply house...

bout 6/7 months ago i bought the harris 5 pack of 18" long rods in 45 from air gas for 32.00 bucks....weighed the 5 rods and they came to 1.5 oz........bob .... |

$24 an oz last time I bought some from my local hvac supply store.  $45 an oz from the local welding supply.  |
