Here is my version of JeepinDoug Mini T spring retainers. used my Grizzly mini mill to machine these from some 1/2 " dia. delrin drop.

Would it be possible to put the threads on like JID does for the spring with a mill?

Wow nice setup! I got to agree with Juan on vertical lathe setups!

Stupid question, how do you like your GMT vise? I love their product videos but haven't had an excuse to buy anything of theirs yet

that would be difficult without automatic feed like lathes have to cut threads

Looks like I just found item #1 for the Christmas list!!! I need a mill for home, tired of staying late at work for projects. I would much rather do it casually at home.
