CNC machines for a budget?

What's a good company to look up some cnc machines for a small work shop area, budget around $2,000

That will be a challenge.
Not impossible but not easy for sure.
You might want to look for something used or one of the kits that is DIY.
What are you looking to do with it?

2K for a CNC? Maybe in a CNC router, but not a CNC Mill or Lathe. Even used they are hard to see in that price range.

Taig 2019CR is about 1200, add steppers, drives and power supply from keling inc, and you're at about $1700. PC from goodwill (make sure it has a parallel port) and some cables and you're under.

Just for referance here are a few machines;
CNC Machines: CNC Milling Machines - LittleMachineShop.com

and some others that can be converted;
Grizzly.comŽ -- Product Categories
And some cnc conversion DIY kits;
CNC Conversion Kits from MicroKinetics

$2000.00 will be tough to get with any capacity.

I probably would've done a g0704 conversion if I had more patience..
