capping a tube I whipped up a new set of sliders for the Honcho. I was thinking of a way to cap the ends of the tubing, so I just brazed a flat piece of 22ga on it and grinded/filed/sanded Here is a pic of the ends, and my design. They mount into the stock holders. Now for some thorough testing;-) http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/...psd62322bb.jpghttp://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9a6f86f9.jpg |
Re: capping a tube Another idea for the lazy people like me, stuff a 3mm button head in the tube and braze it in, grind it down as needed. |

Re: capping a tube A very small ball bearing works good too. |
Re: capping a tube I just use rod on parts that will have a visible open end. Although I try to avoid open tubes when possible. |
Re: capping a tube For some reason I read the title of this thread wrong  Nicely done "thumbsup" |
