| What material? I bent 1/2" square steel by heating it red hot and bending around a round piece of steel. The sides will bulge a little, I squeezed them back with the vice before it cooled. |

also, has anyone ever used one of these benders? and if you have, will it work on square tubing? http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...EARS&ihtoken=1 | |

| I got kind of the same dilemma going on with my build, but I had figured on using heat and bending against things... my dilemma is how to cut it up the middle to make two rails after it's bent... As of right now I think I'm opting to go the 3/16" x 3/4'" steel strap route, cut and welded like rbgerrish does... Oh, yeah... hey you yinzer!!! whereabouts in the steel city you from? There's two of us out here in the mon valley area... right around Kennywood to be more specific... I'm gonna be done with my first TLT soon, scale style, and my bud already has his first done, kinda comp style, and he's already gathering parts for his second... |
