http://www.rchobbies.org/losi_shock_tool.htm I recently picked one up to do a little testing, and was very pleased with it. When I had first heard of it, one of the first things to pop into my head was link matching. This thing works great to make sure everything is even. I make my links by cutting a section of threaded rod, and sleeving it in aluminum. It's fast, cheap, and super durable. The problem is trying to make sure everything is the same length. The only downside to this tool, is the short length, because it was designed to check shocks, it is not very big; only 5". For TLT - 14" rigs, this thing is perfect, but once you get into the super crawlers, it is too small. So I come to you guys asking if anyone would be willing to make one of these, only bigger. It shouldn't be too much of a problem to machine. Anyways, here are some pics. I would definatly recommend you guys pick one up. For less that $20 you can check everything about your shocks, as well as your links. ![]() ![]()

Never thought of using something like that to compare links. Pretty clever.

I just use a yard stick w/ bolts at the needed lengths. Cheap and easy, works for supers and 2.2s.
