Tool suggestions

Hello guys i am pretty new here and also new to the sport. I purchased my first RC Crawler RTR from a member here. I do want to build one soon but i figured it would be easier to be able to see one and get the general idea before trying to build one. Anyways I was wanting to get a head start on the hand tools I will need to work on existing or build more RC Crawlers etc. If you guys don't mind could you please list the tools you guys have and what you would suggest I get. I hate trying to do something and not having the correct tools. Thanks in advance.

hack saw is usually helpful to, it all depends on how crazy you want to get with it. But whats stated above is all you need for basic build. Or you can really get into it and buy a milling machine :) .

before you get a milling machine/lathe invest in a good drill press and a small bandsaw. OH and dont forget the BIG ****IN HAMMER for all those parts that just dont fit ;P

You can do anything with the basic tools. Jigg saw comes in handy as well. Don't limit yourself to your tools, make your tools work to your limitations.

Nice things to have.
Drill press
Cut off saw
Mill/lathe (I wish)
All the cool tools you see in a snap-on catalog.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your willingness to help a newbie. I already have all the basic hand tools and I also have quite a few pnuematic tools along with a drill press, dremel, weller soldering iron station, heat gun etc. I was thinking I might need something specific to this hobby as we did when I was racing slot cars. Thanks guys.

You gotta have some sort of bench vice.
