my bad, its the BAC Industries MR-01 Mighty Rod Bender. been using one of these at my buddies house and it works great. cheaper to order my own since the homemade crap is to inconsistent and the cost of gas make it difficult to travel 30 miles

can anyone comment on how well these benders do on solid rod, like piano wire? I was thinking of getting the BAC Mighty Rod bender. In the past I've just heated up the solid rod with a torch and bent in my vice, but I'm hoping to use a bender since it slows me down when I have to wait for cooling. I might use it for tube, but I'm more of a fan of solid rod. Thanks.

I'm so glad I found this thread!!! I bought that thing JR-2 from a local salvage store for $12!!! I couldn't figure out for the life of me what it was, but it looked like a bender. It didn't have the handle, but I can fix that myself lol
