? Custom cage out stock plastic

First off I'm a newbie, how r u guys building custom cages out of the stock plastic? What procedures r involved? Thanks for the help

The tube work is made from 3/16 and 1/4" brake line. Some people also use solid steel and stainless tubing. There are lots of threads on this subject have you read anything on this site yet?

If you want to like I did,build one out of plastic clouth hanger and a hot glue gun

Tjuney, welcome to rcc, imo you have signed up to one of the best site for the love of RC's. Especially crawlers and scalers.
If you are talking about the wraith cage mods and such. I think most people drill a centering hole on both pieces and use a pin that is glued in to one end then inserted into the other piece. I think most people use plastruct or similar ca glue. Check out jia's ultra 4 build in the wraith section. He goes into detail on this. On another note, you may want to use the search box to search out commonly asked questions or check out the newbie area. Unfortunately there are some members who don't remember what it was like to be new and ask for help and you may get flamed but if you can't ind the answer and have checked around then ask away. Haha yea how you gona flame a guy when you didn't even fully read or maybe comprehend what he posted and op I have no answer for your plastic cage but be prepared to get a lot of answers like search and even ruder versions people forget that not everyone's computer literacy is on the same level and then their is some who think they're a forum god and they were never knowledge newbs anyway don't let that stuff bring you down or away from the sport. I myself get most of my info off google then it'll link me to a thread on here. Anyway what I'm getting at don't hate the sport or the forum cuz some people are Richards

Just was reading the thread and wanted to say good luck TJUNEY I don't know much about plastic cages, but you WILL find anything you need to on this site, very good site to learn and never hesitate to ask ?s Yes the search bar is your friend but so is google, don't let someone's words get ya down, everyone is/was a newbie at one point in their life, NO ONE knew all the answers to begin with!
