Default What Aluminum to use..

I'm curious from the vet builders what alum stock you guys use.. What i'm seeing is 6061 alum, but what temper, T3? and thickness as well. I'm in the midst of designing a chassis and i'm wondering about the material I should use.

606x works well for machined, non-bent parts.

If you have to bend it much more than 30* 606x will likely break.

I've had good luck with 5052 for bent chassis parts.
