Default Integy QuickPit Allen Wrench Set

Looking at picking one of these up. I'm currently using some allen keys that came with my Craftsman set and they are getting worn, are small to handle, and wont fit in my electric drill. These look to be decent. They will work in my electric drill. All screws are torqued and un-torqued by hand, buy spinning screws into beadlocks gets old by hand real quick. Anyone have experience with them? I want a set that can be used by hand and in an electric drill. Thought about T-Handle styles or styles with built in handles, but then I'd have to buy another set for my drill.

This is the best driver set for the money.

The nitrided tips are awesome. And as long as you have a 1.5mm tip, you can still use these tips in a drill (I do). The color coded handles make it super easy to identify too.

The sets that come with the hex drive would be a little more compatible with more of the smaller power screwdrivers since they have the 1/4 hex on them.

I don't think mine is labeled traxxas but it is the same kit. Not worth the money in the long run. I have had to cut the tips down bc they start to round, and the handles don't stay locked into tight or loosen.
Granted I still use it and it gets the job done

That may be true, but to be honest, you pretty much would only need two sizes if he is using the drill for beadlocks. The set I posted has Ti Nitrided tips that are had and provide super snug engagement. I've had the same set for over 5 years and have never replaced a tip.

I've had the same set for damned near 20 years. Busted a .050 tip years ago trying to turn a screw off centered but that's what I get for being dumb.

I've pulled the tip out of a 2 mm for doing beadlocks several times. I have a cheap little driver rather than a bulky drill now so I'll be picking up a set of these

A good friend has this set and it's nice but having to keep pulling bits out of the handle got old the couple time I've used it. I guess I'm used to my separate drivers.

My buddy has the Losi one and I found one for $40 shipped on ebay. I want something as compact as possible so I can carry it with my on trail runs to do quick fixes or change batteries (my body is screwed onto the frame).

This is the one he has Ebay.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have this set, except made by duratrax. The clutch in the handle is weak and mine is now broken.

I'm currently in the market for good set that has ends that won't round over easily. I'd pay top dollar for one at this point because I've tried a lot of different kinds. I'll accept individual drivers or swapping drivers with a single handle.

While I don't have this exact set, I do own the V-Torque integy set that uses the same replacement tips. So far I've broken the Red, Green, and Black tips. My 2nd green tip is showing a lot of wear/rounding and is starting to spin on some of the tighter screws.

What I don't understand is why my stand along L shaped allen wrenches are so much better than these hobby grade items.

RC TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES - EDS RACING PRODUCTS ONLINE STORE

The EDS tools, while not cheap, are awesome. Well made and if they don't have what you need, you probably don't need them. I've also had good luck with the Losi and Associated tools. I have enough trouble not over tightening screws by hand, much less using a power tool....

I bought the MIP drivers as others have recommended. I absolutely love them. Well worth the extra cash. Here's a list of what I have owned.

Integy V-Torque set (the ones with the colored rubber boots on the shafts, broke 4-5 of the bits/shafts)
Duratrax Set (also sold by traxxas, bits just spin in the handle)
Turnigy 4 in 1 hand tool from hobbyking (best out of these oddly enough even though the tips are wearing out).
Bondorus (Red and Black set, the shafts ended up just spinning in the handles).

And now the MIP set. I bought the type that fits into a power tool, but they also fit in any standard hex bit holder including my Integy handles.

Bondhus, by far the best I've used. Good prices and a lifetime warranty.

Don't forget, made in the USA!

I cannot say the same about Bondhus. I have spun the shafts in the handles on the smaller sizes.
