OK,one last mention of CO2 from me.
The main cost is buying the bottle, once you own a bottle
you just trade your empty for a full then it's around $25
each time.(for a 15 lb.)

I use Argon/CO 50/50 mix
.025

I use a 220/240v Lincoln MIG
used primarily for my 1:1...
a little too heavy duty for micro duties...
but welds rod fine.

I use carbide bits in my air grinder
for grinding down muh booger welds.

If I were in the business of it...
I get me a TIG

Here you go buddy, Ty's chassis' are performers too:
Ty's Metal Works
Though not all are flux, all the new ones are

The super sized Angry Raisin

The Raisin 2.1 (X4)

and I'm sure there are many others with great looking and performing flux welded chassis.

as noted above I need to try to use the welder so i can get better at that...

the dremel, cutoff wheels & sanding disks is what i am looking for... i just am not sure of the best to use?

I will check into the ez lock items...., I will get the 025 wire & related feeding stuff as well. Then put to use the info. tips you provided

That is a pretty neat idea... i am going to try to see if i can get the welding down first.. if not then i will conceed to the brazing idea as mentioned above.....

Thanks for all the helpful hints & tools.... all you guys aren't as bad as everyone makes you out to be....

I use 75/25 argon/co2 on my welds. For grinding I use a die grinder with 2" twist on pads. Works good for me.
