Default Trying to find some 1/4" 4340 normalized rod

So been beating the interweb and shooting off emails and not getting anywhere with metal suppliers. Nobody that I've found is interested I guess in small orders. Reaching out to the masses here to see if anyone has any leads on where to find some 1/4" 4340 rod. Smallest I can find to purchase right away online is 3/8". Trying to avoid time on the manual lathe turning it down. Any help would be appreciated. Looking for 4' min but willing to buy more to fill a min order requirement that's not ridiculous.

Mcmaster has it. I've ordered it from them before.

Yeah checked them too and 1/2" is the smallest in 4340 or 300m. They offer 4140 in 1/4" and may have to end up going that route.

Yep, your right. It was 4140 that I got not 4340.
