| Hex Drivers
I am curious what people are using for tools, we have a set of duratrax hex drivers and we stripped the m2x10mm bolts for the diff cover...any help would be great.

Tools are something you don't want to scrimp on....you end up buying multiple cheap ones or one good one. Nothing worse than a screw that's stripped and won't come out. I found some Losi tools that have lasted quite awhile....Hudy makes some nice ones as well |

Been using an Integy 2.0mm and 2.5mm for 5 years now. Never had a problem with the tip. Somehow integy actually found/made good tools to sell. I also have a set of Losi hex drivers that fit in my electric screw driver, been plenty pleased with them. |

Look at Locked Up RC tools…I've been replacing my old tools with theirs! You can use the handles with the scale hardware tools too.

I have a couple of Hudy hex drivers which must be at least 12 years old and they are still good. It pays to buy the best tools you can afford.

I started out with Dynamite Then been through two sets of Durtrax Then went through a set of Duratrax Ultimate series. Currently I am using MIP and love them. You can actually feel the difference when inserting one of these into a screw head vs the others. |

| Re: Hex Drivers Yup, it's the close tolerance of the MIP drivers that makes them my favourites. |

Been using axial hex drivers for a few years now and they are just plain awesome. I've manage to strip a handful of cheap screws with them but the drivers them selves show no signs of wear.

I'm going to go another route. All the hex drivers mentioned so far are hobby grade, some of which are quite nice. I myself got "wiha" hex drivers. These are industry standard and are of exceptional quality. Decent prices for a set if you look online. I bought one set of SAE and one Metric.

i use a set of EDS racing tools, have had for a few years and show no signs of wear. I only use them on 10th scale rc, i also use Bondhus wrenches on my 5th scale rigs.

| Re: Hex Drivers I second that, Hudy makes good stuff. My Hudy tools are 8 years old and have seen lots of use. Good tools help you do good work. I consider Hudy to be the equivalent of having Snap-On stuff in your 1:1 toolbox.
