I usually just take a dremel and cut a small slot in the top of the screw and use a flat head to take it out.

Is the screw/bolt threaded into a nut, plastic, or metal?

Try hammering the next size Allen in it. Should work.

I've had good luck using my Craftsman screw out bits. Kinda like a drill bit that bites into the head of a screw and backs it out. Might try them if the other suggestions don't work.

as run2jeepin says, use a torx, its simler to an allen but its star shapped,i used to race 1/8 buggys, they need most bolts thread locked,if the allen rounded the head off and you used the torx it would work 100% of the time |

yea i am goin tot try a size bigger allen first...the reson i am donein this is that i might make a crawler out of the diffs but i might have them traded off to mad force axles

Cut a slot in the head with a Dremmel... Then use a straight screwdriver..
