semester project I had to take a 'manufacturing processes' course last semester, which I thought was a waste of time and effort since I've worked as a tool and die maker, but much to my surprise I actually learned a LOT during this class. One of the projects I had to do was a mini vise, which actually interested me since I have access to a mini style mill and a full size knee mill. After some thought, I realized that this was actually one of the few things that I made for myself that will actually get used. The finish is poor, but it really didn't matter to me because I know it will get used and consequently impacted with end mills... http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...2876-55637.jpg http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...2876-55638.jpg http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/membe...2876-55641.jpg |
