Default conformal coating removal

Before I place an online order, I was wondering if anyone knew of a local product that can be found at Lowes, home depot, ace hardware, etc. That can remove acrylic conformal coating.
I used the brush on coating and somehow it is making my sensor board on my motor short or something.
Any help is, as always, appreciated.

Default Re: conformal coating removal

you might mess the board up more trying to remove all the coating. The coating does the opposite once dried as it stops shorts from happening. they use conformal coating on extremely small micro chip boards cause the electrical parts are so close together they can naturally short out on their own. what problems are you having. Also are you sure you didn't get a lil down on the connections you may have also put it on too thick and not allowing the sensors to get a proper signal thru the thick coat of acrylic. I have 3 bottle of acrylic conformal coating and use it on all my electronics. No problem ever. Get some MG chemicals conformal coating thinner and try to thin out the coating on the sensors or clean the sensors and see if that fixes it.
