Looking for tiny hog ring pliers?

I don't know if that is the correct name....... What is the correct tool to remove the tiny ring that holds the seals in the Big Bores? I have a heck of a time rebuilding these...... Where can I find a good tool for this?

Aren't these e clips? A small flat head screw driver will pop them right off. Just be careful as they will shoot off and mysteriously disappear so as to never find them.

its an internal snap ring where the shaft comes out..."thumbsup"

I have tried small snap ring pliers, they wont close small enough to get them out..
a pointed scribe will pick them out by the little hole in them........

You might be looking for pliers now...but soon you'll be looking for that ring...:lmao: Little bastards fly like the wind.

Small flat bladed screwdriver to remove and needlenose pliers to reinstall is what I use.

Yes, you are right! I have lost a couple of these. Removing them isn't that hard. My question is replacing them. I have fought and struggled to replace those little bastards. There is nothing like the right tool for the job and I was hoping someone had found the perfect thing. Thanks again for the help here.

I bought a cheap snap ring pliers from harbor freight. came with multiple ends. I took the smallest ones, then ground them even finer to a super point.
