Default Dremel drill press

Well this is what I am using to get my stuff done on my K2-3S build. It works well drilling through Delrin. I even used it to drill through my out put shaft on my R2 tranny. For 45 bucks I really couldn't beat it. It also turns sideways so I can use it for a bench grinder with my dremel. Well here is a pic.

I like this cause it works well with my xp400 dremel variable speed. Plus if I want to disassemble it and put it away. I can. I live in an apartment in San Diego, Ca. No garage and no where to work. I do all my work out of my room or in my living room.

i bought mine at tower for 41.99. i also live in an apartment and it does a great job, its amazing what all you can do with a dremel, as long as you have enough bits anyway.

We have one of the dremel stands also. I have found it very versatile for the things we have done so far. As things progress for us in the future, I think I would get a larger drill press as our skills develop and I possibly attempt to possibly fabricate a little more. The dremel though is a marvellous piece of equipment for what it is.

I agree with both of you. This thing is working just fine for what I need it for. Things will need to get upgraded once the skills get up to par. The dremel is the all around tool everyone needs in there tool box in my opinion.

Ok, I just got this and the Planer and the Plunge Router. W/ an XP400 in a Kit. Was just ofer $150 for everything. With 180 Pc accessory and a Hevy Duty Cloth zipper bag for the Dremel itself. Will be getting the Hard Dremel accessory box and th epolishing Kit. But I must say this is one TOP Notch Product.

This is to the press attachment. your best bet would be going to home depot or lowes. I paid 120 for the xp400 and the press.
