Re: Hand made Crawler TRACK The first hobby shop I went into that got me into crawling had an indoor course it was pretty cool...definitely more for comp rigs but there were less aggressive sections for scalers. It was a mom and pop shop too. I've also seen some Hobby Town shops have small little rock sections as well. |
Re: Hand made Crawler TRACK We did several times in Indonesia, we built it mostly outdoor but it can be done the same way for indoor. Basically we just use rocks and cement/mortar just coat the mortar lightly between rocks to bond them together. Do not use a lot of mortar/cement unless you want it to be permanent. Step we took : 1. Design the layout 2. Look for rocks/stones that suitable for your design/layout. 3. Just do it :) Another route to go is to use resin but a little bit more time consuming and more expensive. The good thing about resin : it is portable and lightweight, easy for you to store it. We build it into small cubicle so we can arrange them into combination. Here is sample of our indoor track using resin in Senayan Trade Center , Jakarta Indonesia ( Post #105 ) http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/outsi...uk-sini-6.html |
Re: Hand made Crawler TRACK If anyone is in the East coast New Jersey are, you are more then welcome to come down and play on the layout |
