Here is a couple from my SCX Chevy build....from a junk cheapo printer. All ABS.

T-case that fits stock SCX skid.
Sits into the diamond patterning on the bottom to keep it as low as possible.

Chevy LS
I found the Block, Intake, Headers, Heads and Valve covers on Thingiverse. I designed the front accessories and redesigned the block for the application. Also, the inner fenders are printed.

Transmission relocation mount, hard to see behind LS

Master cylinder and Washer tank..

Interior, dash is styrene.

Wheel hubs to tuck the tire inside the fender for Class 0. They held up really well.

Intake, Airbox, Valance, Fusebox, Battery, Firewall. Everything in this pic.

No More!

Unfortunately I posted some pics on my local FB group and everybody wants one. They take a day to print and since people actually PAY me for them they are usually higher up on the priority list.
Did you draw these? I remember seeing them on yeggi or thingiverse like two/three years ago. Definitly a cool design!

I'm starting a new engine for a Sand Scorcher based Bug.

I did not design these. They were indeed something I found on Thingiverse.

RC boat trailer...

I have a couple small runabouts but they can hold a pretty good load...

Not bad for PLA leaf springs.

I designed & printed some parts for my WLToys 10428B "Clone Hammers". First was a new body mount that allowed the whole body to pivot forward instead of requiring 8 screws to get into it. This was done specifically so I could relocate the battery on my next print.

I don't have a picture of it, but there's a correpsonding piece that mounted to the body/cage for another pair of magnets to attach, and the body pivots at the front bumper mount.

The reason for the hinged body was because I designed & printed a new bulkhead that holds the battery, plus it replaced the crap sliding rack steering system with proper bell cranks, and eliminated the laydown shocks for normal stand-up shocks using SCX10 shock hoops.

The overall capability of the vehicle is MUCH improved with these changes.

That's ingenious! Variable shock hoops for the Twin Hammers. I really like this design.

Thanks. Originally I was going to print the sides of the bulkhead higher, but I much preferred the aesthetics of the shock hoop design, plus I figured it would be stronger.

Sway bar and brake light mount for the Ascender that I designed.

Its available on Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3365848

I just made a little insert that fits inside of the stock SCX10.2 battery tray and allows the battery to be laid down instead of on its side. the stock battery box needs to be cut down, and the servo needs to be scooted up against the shock tower.

Made some license plate frames as well

a few items I found on Thingiverse,

Engine for the Sand Scorcher
https://www.thingiverse.com/make:501818

I though I might use this on a build but it needs to be paired down and the exhaust needs to be changed to the trumpet pointing up style

inner fenders for the SCX10.2
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3343085

these were so small though I'm not even sure what body they would work for, they dont stick out far enough to even get close to the body.

Venture battery relocation mount
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2942916

I don't even have the truck yet but I'm printing parts for it, lol

I found some cool sanding blocks and scaled them to a few different sizes
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2404850

TRX4 low cg battery mount (the wide mount they posted is broken, prints in 2 peices instead of 1)
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2823853

I might make my own version as I need a cutout up front for my battery wires. I had BowHouse's 1st gen low cg battery mount and this one puts the battery ever so slightly lower by like 4-6 mm

I've surprisingly not printed much for my rigs. I tend to work in styrene and metal faster than modelling complex objects anyway. We print some little doodads like screw trays, motor endbell covers, and road cones for sale.

I mostly print for prototyping and shop tooling purposes.

Ugh, those are great. Makes me want to get into 3d printing so bad.

I dont think you'll regret it so long as you have the space for one and the time to devote to learning the software.

One more that I forgot

SCX10.2 chassis

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2854422

I printed this to mock up a build I have in the works using a Scorcher body.
I had to scale it down to 83.3% to get it the stock length, even then many of the holes and spacing is off so I cant recommend using this for much else than mock ups.

I feel the same way sometimes, its definitely what I'm most used to. But one area where the 3d printing always wins against my manual labor is in hole layout (so long as the design is well done, big caveat I guess). With my metal work I usually have to enlarge or slot holes to make up for my inaccuracy.

Cool. I might try these. Thanks for sharing.

I have been using these...

Sandpaper Holders

...but the paper jamb is a bit of a PITA sometimes.

I don't know if anybody else uses the AOKoda 150W LiPo discharger/Balancer but I highly recommend it.

You can get a nifty case for it that bundles all the wires and has a slide-open compartment to store the bulbs.

Link to it on Thingiverse
