It's nice, and more out of the way than the neck lanyard I currently use on my FlySky (and the conversion I made for my Futaba 3PV) - but $45 is crazy steep... That's Kydex firearm holster money, yet it's a much simpler piece than the majority of firearm holsters I've seen. And the worst thing about it - You have to wear a BELT!!! I find belts uncomfortable, especially in the heat of summer here in Texas... My Futaba conversion for a lanyard: (I cringed at the $17.99 price for the carbon chunk, but hey - it's "tech-bling" - but the hardware for the lanyard loop were CPU mounting bolts I had laying around) Last edited by durok; 07-25-2018 at 04:08 PM. |

That controller holster is nerdier than wearing a cellphone holster... Maybe I should market a fanny pack to hold RC spares on the trail. Who made the carbon part? That's cool. |

lol I've actually been looking for a fanny pack/trail pack hahaha "Its not a purse its a SACHEL! Indiana Jones wears one!" Casey my son did the ziptie thing did he pick that up from you at proline? genius. the only TX i have with a stock integrated lanyard loop is from my RTR Yeti. i wonder why more companies don't integrate that? i was about to screw a picture hanger D ring on mine but that carbon thingy Dirk posted is awesome! and yes $45 is way too steep i don't care if its kydex. i bet they are kicking themselves over not getting this out ahead of axialfest though. why do i get the feeling they would sell out of these if they sold them there? i was thinking something like this could work too. (okay yes, inspired by lightsaber belt clips... im a nerd.) seen these for as little as $3 on office depot's website. Last edited by Shinchu; 07-26-2018 at 08:26 AM. |

It's actually made by Futaba, works for the 3PV and 4PV: https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/futm5525.htm mounts right up using included screws - I then drilled mine out for a lanyard mount using the eyebolt-looking thing meant for mounting a CoolerMaster heatsink to a CPU: Lanyard mod for Futaba 3PV, Achievement Unlocked! |

If you look at the link it appears that they're trying to bring the 80's back. https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/oakle...ses-trend-buy/ | |

For my trail TX's I use a couple of the rubber wrist bands put together with a key ring. Tie wrap one band to the handle of the TX and a caribener on the other end and clip it to a belt loop. Don't care for neckstraps.

I wear a sporty-style fanny pack from Dollarama. It has what I believe to be a water bottle holder - but I use it to carry a tall can. I usually bring three for an average trail run, one in hand, one in the pack, and one in my back pocket. Oh ya, fanny pack also holds a few tools and parts. Gf and I went out for dinner at a Firkin pub after a walk on Saturday, after leaving my sweater at our booth and heading for the pisser, I realized I was still wearing it, shirt belted under it and all. |

Bolt this to the battery compartment. Transmitter hangs upside down.
