Default Socket for removing studs from Boom Racing wheels?

I picked up a set of Boom Racing Terra 8 hole wheels for a build I want to do. The wheels look fantastic, and fairly close to how I remember the wheels on my grandparents' 1989 Suburban. I went to try them on my truck, but I noticed that the tiny screws that hold the hub cap on need a socket that is much smaller than anything I have. Does anyone know what size I need for this, or who makes one? I saw a 2.5mm tip the other day, but they don't seem very common.

I cannot be sure since I do not have those wheels, but it looks like a Wiha 2.0x60 265P would work. I use something like this one on my Gmade wheels that have very similar looking hardware. Good luck!

I believe these are 1.55 wheels? They utilize a 2mm socket. You can get a 2mm cap-head screw and turn it upside down then insert it into any driver/ tool handle or you can pick up a 2mm socket driver like a Wiha #26520 nut driver... ebay, amazon, RPP Hobby ( Gear-Head brand), etc.

I used a bolt & glued it into a piece of aluminum tube. Worked perfectly for my scale bolts on the beadlocks

Wish I had seen this before I bought one. I do have a nice socket tip and handle coming from lockeduprc tho.

Hopefully you got the HD one. The standard, 2-per pack scale hardware tips strip way too easily. I either get only 2 or 4 wheels (I forget) out of a tip before it's too worn to use. I haven't used the HD tip on more than 2 wheels so I can't comment on how long it will last.

I got the HD tip after reading this

NOT suggested for use with bead lock wheels. For those applications, use part# 730-2HD

Noobie and beadlocks, same tool problem. ordered a couple sockets from RPP but didn't want to wait so . . . thanks to this thread I made this: m3X10 stainless cap screw locked into the 4mm hex wrench Handel. works like a charm.
