Couple of ideas for ya to get your feet wet..... Variable speed, good for plastics; 7.5in. maximum drill height https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...7940_200747940 even better, more versatile https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...9138_200659138 Pep |

A small bench DP, for the model builder could morph into a light weight mill. Pep |

This little Genesis 12v still seems like it would be a good inexpensive option. https://www.amazon.com/GLCD122P-Lith...is+12v+&sr=8-2 |

It looks similar to my dewalt. It's an $18 drill with a $20 battery. But for hobbies as long as the clutch is decent and it's variable speed, how bad can it be? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

Couple of zip ties and a 2x4 you got a bench drill, I just thought that was implied... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

Plastic, G-10, aluminum, sheet metal, etc... several hours. The 12v drills are roughly the same size, just more voltage. | |
