Anyone run a set of these?. I just got mine in from amazon and wow I’m actually fan girling over these. They have transformed my tiny truck manufacturing abilities. They’re strong and durable. The 1/4in steel baseplate are skookum as frig. And the. Magnets that are in the octopus arms are tough. I just brazed up a bumper for my gen 8 and it worked really really well. That set-up looks about a million times more efficient and useful than the typical old-school Helping Hand variants. I can easily see how they'd pay for themselves pretty quickly. Very nice.

Honestly it was love at first braze. Mocking up is stupid simple. There is spring back which can be compensated and adjusted for in positions/bending the arms. They’re made in the USA and came with a certificate of authenticity. Like I rate this 100/10 if you build anything this is a game changer. I’ve gotten an arm quite hot already aslong as there is no direct contact to flame the plastic bits seem to handle the heat of brazing. The alligators seem solid and there is a very nicely machined lock nut to spin and adjust the gator clip. I love it

I got one that looks pretty much like that one but mine doesn't have the magnetic arms. man that could come in handy.

I use the little cheap thing from Harbor Freight for soldering, but it doesn't have enough heft so it moves around too much. I need to get one of these things. Thank you for sharing!

Looks a lot better than my piece of wood with close pins and mini clamps[emoji1787][emoji106]
