This is great. In each of the 64 drawers you can put a divider in the middle which I have done in quite a few. I put labels on each drawer. Really speeds up the process when you're doing a build from scratch, or looking for a specific size screw. https://www.amazon.com/Akro-Mils-Pla.../dp/B08P7RF62P Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

If you dont like the dividers coming out glue them in. If you want a container with screws too check out the boxes Gearhead RC has, looks like they sell empty boxes too now. https://www.rpphobby.com/category_s/...ar%20Head%20RC |

I have some Clear Plano Tackle boxes I use but I really like the one that came with Screw Loose. The box is very secure. If you can find a box like they used. That would be my choice. |

An alternative is what they use to store jewelry beads. https://www.amazon.com/Embroidery-Co...781912&sr=8-10 The advantage of the Amazon one is that it is crystal clear and the tops are flat with no ridges so it's a straight shot seeing inside. The disadvantage is that it's hard plastic and if you drop the tray, it will probably crack.

BTW, most Walmarts have the plano 3700 box for less than $4. I get a couple when I run low. They get used for all kinds of stuff around the house lol

I made this to hold my Plano #3500 organizers. Cheap and easy to make and keeps all my screws in one place. Added a label to each compartment to show the screw size. |

Great space saving idea B-MOW!I have something sort of like that, but it holds just about everything since I don't have that many screws lol.

It has worked out great to keep all of my hardware in one spot. Don't mind a bit @oldblue2010! I found all of the pieces to make it at my local Menards.

I use one of the parts cabinets with the little pull out drawers because i don't like opening a box to get into a box, and almost all of my little boxes over time have had the snap on the lid quit working. Plus I have gained muscle memory over the years and I don't even have to read the little pull outs, my hand goes to the right one without even thinking. I can close my eyes right now and visualize where my cotter pins are right now haha. I also have a cabinet that someone in the aircraft industry gave me, it has 4 pull out drawers with little compartments with no lids similar to what you'd see in a hardware store...same thing. I can think of 'drywall screw' and know exactly which drawer and how far back they are without even looking. |

Great thread! I am a mess. I have screws in KFC containers (awesome to keep and use for builds and storage) and small Glad/Ziplock single serving containers. I really need to get organized. I love B-MOW's idea! |

As mentioned, this is a great thread. I use several different style of small containers, but I definitely need to step it up on my screw stores and organization Where does everyone make their bulk screw purchases Edit: a label maker is a super useful tool. Has helped me be organized |

I don’t know how bulk you want/need, but Samix has big packs of M3, M2.5, and M2 screws that vary in all kinds of sizes on Amain in a pack of 300-350. Cap head, Flat Head and Button head. All nice and stainless steel as well, and IMO decently priced. Link: https://www.amainhobbies.com/samix-s...-2007/p1255505 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

When I used to race Short Course Trucks and Stadium Trucks at my local track, I would take this Plano tackle box with me. Each of the four pull out containers were for an individual truck and all of its spare parts and tools. As I acquired more trucks, I just picked up a few more of the parts containers. Based on what trucks I was driving or if I was going to go Bash a monster truck , I would bring that parts container with me in The Tackle Box. Even now when I go to my local crawling course, I bring this tackle box with me with the trx4 partscontainer as well as an Axial. It's rare that I ever have to fix a crawler, but I have given screws and parts to others when they need to repair their trucks. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Plano-Fis...BoCpmgQAvD_BwE Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |
