I use the hyper tough led shop lights from Walmart in my garage and where I reload ammo. I like them.

I don’t know how much the Hyper Tough lights run, but I picked this up from Harbor Freight for under $20.00 on sale.

I have these in my basement and WOW! It feels like I'm outdoors every time I'm there! The temperature of the light is just right for me for color rendition.

Look for coupons that will bring the price down to $20 each (limit 4 on the coupon I think).

I buy them in store. One is like 3200 lumen for 20$ with no pull chain for on/off, the other is 5000 lumen for like 25$ with a pull chain.

I have this decent sized clip on desk light and it all light up my whole room it’s so bright. Don’t know the brand, but any style like this would be nice to have if you ever work at night.

+1

Note that there make a 3000 lumen and a 5000 lumen one. I think the 3000 one is daisy chainable but that 5000 one is sure bright. I got the 5000 one and believe that's the $20 one with coupon. Turned my basement like it was outdoors!

If you're US based, keep your eyes on the dollar store - every now and then they get a shipment of small desk LED lights, which while not the brightest or best color temperature (they seem super warm color) - they're $1.

I've seen people literally buying boxes of them, then reselling them on Ebay, or at flea markets or garage sales for anything from $5 to $15 - and people eat them up.

I have a few with the long adjustable arms that I keep around for when I need additional light for something detailed.

They do need 110v power, so might not be a good pit light though.
