Here is the process for plaster.

Composite parts made easy

An uncut body would work good, set the body on foam board tape the edges down on the body so plaster dosen't leak under it. Build walls around it with foam board and slowly fill it up so the pressure of the plaster doesn't squish the sides in. Plaster will cure just fine at room temp.

Nice build. Very innovative in more than one way. Thanks for the inspiration.

thanks

Do you think that expanding foam spray between the body and the box would brace it enough? I would try the kind used around window and door frames that doesn't expand as much so that it doesn't deform the body. Just a thought.:-D

Mike, that rig turned out great by the way!!!!!

Not sure I understand using foam between the body and box. That should be where the plaster is poured.
