| newbie with tube questions
ok i am new to working with tube i have a small bender and most of the tools i need to fool around and try few things out this right here is what i want my finished product to look like but have a few q's do i need to use solid rod or someting along the lines of brake line and what would be best to braze with... gas and what kind of brazing rod i need to use any info will be great also i tried the search but couldnt find what im looking for so if some one will point me the right way thanks |

for those types of bends, brake line will work fine- it is when you get into 90* and over bends that brake line crimps and collapses on you (then you need to go with solid rod) I would suggest the standard 3/16 steel brake line with Harris Safty Silv 45 brazr and flux, use a trigger start mapp torch. Good luck. Keep in mind your first one always looks like a$$ (unless you are an engineer or something), buy enough material to make about three, by that time you should have the hang of it. Any other questions ask here, or figure them out yourself. |

thanks guys i am planning on gettin some help from my dad with all this he is a engineer but he also is liike a god with stuff like this but just wanted to ask to see what i needed to start with im trying to get my dad to make me some frame rails for my wheelie king all they use is a really werid fiberglass stuff and like gasket material but he said might try the glass and see how it works but thanks again guys
