you can powdercoat anything that wont melt in an oven, even plastics. i know a powdercoater and i watched him powdercoat a plastic centercap of the 1:1 wheel he was also working on.

also you dont always need to charge the piece your working on. if you "hot flock" it that is. just heat the piece up to temp, then shoot it with the powder. the powder will melt and have the same effect as spraying then baking.
