| Tube question
Hi everybody. i've been reding my eyes out for the last couple weeks here, and I'm going to get a Wheely King, and eventually build a tuber. Now, my question is, I know you guys building tubers are using 3/16" brake line tube. What is the wall thickness of that tube??? I have some stainless steel tube here that is .035" wall. Think that will be cool? Thanks in advance! Also thanks for all the killer info, and for helping me get addicted to this awesome hobby. (wife doesnt exactly feel the same, but oh well! my kids DO!!) |

| Should be good
Just did a quick google search so I could easily be wrong, but it looks like 3/16" brake line has a .028 inch wall thickness. Again, I could be wrong, but that is what I got from my quick search. |

| You are correct sir! But I think he asked about brake line... not fuel line? And I was merely stating that, as far as I know, that is the minimum wall thickness for a 3/16" brake line. I guess I could have been more specific though. Good looking out bro!

.035" should be fine.Alot of guys use solid rod and it seems to work for them.

I have used a spectrum of different rods and tubes just building and dorking around with. What you have there should work perfectly on making a tuber. Just make sure you have a bender for it. Good Luck
