| GD600 question, yes I searched
How do you turn down the shaft on a GD600 I have read on it, but like most of the threads, it does not tell you how. You cannot fit the thing in a lathe machine so how do you do it? Do you PRESS the Shaft off the Gear and turn it down on the end and then press it back on? Please explain Or is there a 5mm pinion some where thanks |

Thay's how I did it, I chucked it right into a drill. Once you disassemble the GD the output shaft gear should slide right off.

You're right it doesn't come off, I checked mine. For some reason I don't remember the gear being there when I filed it down, and I just did it like a month ago. I guess that means the gear wasn't a problem or in the way.
