Don't Forget the Dremel how many attachments do you have and how many of them do you actually use? i only use 2 (grinder and cut-off wheel) i got probaly 25 different attachments (pathedic i know) |
probably about 30 and use about 10-15 of them. |
i only use the cutting wheels and grinding stones. |
Key hand tool!! They are sweet!! The keyless chuck attachment is nice too, works great for drilling small holes in alum. |
I use the cut off wheels the grinding stones and the polishing wheels. |
Let's see... 2 dremmels, flex shaft attachment, 9 grinding stones/wheels, 3 cut-off wheels, 5 polishers, 6 carving/engraving bits, router attachment, drill press attachment, etc...  Needless to say, I use mine a lot. My wife probably uses it more than me though. The drill press attachment is hers. All the engraver/cutter bits are excellent for shaving plastic, the polishing heads are used for jewelry, and all of the above I use for odds and ends gunsmithing tasks. Some of the polishing heads are especially well suited for polishing feed ramps on Colt .45's.... |
all i have to say is that they kick ass and they are sometimes, a life saver! |
If you are gonna buy one dont waste your time on a cordless one in my own opinion mine only lasts for like 10 or 15 minutes most of the time it dies when im almost done. |
I agree. I have two cordless and two corded. By far, I use the corded ones more often. I use the cordless when I want to work on something in the warmth of the dining room! The reinforced cut-off wheel is my #1, followed by a grinding bit. |
I just got there newest edition of the Dremel. It's awesome. Came with everything, even the flex shaft!!! I have about 150 attachments total. Prolly 40 or 50 different ones. I love the diamond and carbide attachments!!!! |
