what do you guys use for weldling rod when making suspension parts chasses stuff like that

not sure, i don't use rods, i use mig wire :mrgreen:

rods are for ark, tig, and brazing. Wire is for welding. :flipoff:

I bought some alumiweld and it works to bond all types of a luminum with a map gas torch, great for small brazing and such. VERY strong.

Ive used those rods for fix an aluminum casing on a dewalt saw works great and its still holding up after all the crap its been through. :mrgreen:

Yea, The key is maintaining 750 degrees while welding, but it does definately hold excellent!
