not sure, i don't use rods, i use mig wire |

rods are for ark, tig, and brazing. Wire is for welding. |

I bought some alumiweld and it works to bond all types of a luminum with a map gas torch, great for small brazing and such. VERY strong. http://www.alumiweld.com/awpricing.html |

Ive used those rods for fix an aluminum casing on a dewalt saw works great and its still holding up after all the crap its been through. |
