|  New Hobby Table
Hay All. Well this being my first post here, I guess Ill introduce myself a little. I'm just getting back into the R/C thing after my cars have been sitting for a couple of years. Been into it since I was 9 or 10, just haven't played with them for a long time. Currently I have an Associated RC10T3 and a modded T-Maxx. I'm going to start saving up my peanuts for an Axial AX10, hopefully that will spark my interest back up in R/C! That being said, I figured I would need a new workbench to fix up the cars on! So my best friend and I whipped this out! Basic construction is of 6-2x4's and 1-4x8 sheet of 3/8 plywood. Decided to make it a little fancy, so we tossed in a fluorescent light with a switch and an outlet on the deck. The rubber mat is who knows what about 1/4" thick that came with a Toyota truck that we cut up for parts, but should be a nice work surface. Onto the Pics! now this my friends is a good quality post, correct forum, great pics, and most importanly, tech.he didnt take pics of the lumber before he cut it. Welcome aboard, enjoy building and good luck.BTW, you could always start with the t-maxx, i hear the diffs are great for making custom axles. buschmaster? master of what, beer or gash? |

Very nice. You're going to like using it. Not to grab your thread, but you guys can use alot of existing things. I was going to my barber, who's shop is in a alley. This table ( some sort of drawing ) was next to a dumpster. I added casters to make it mobile in my shop, added a framed peg board, lamp, power strip and some of my tools. Very handy item !
