Thick walled tubing????

I have heard people talk about "thick walled" tubing, but I have unable to locate any place that carries it (I am not looking to have it custom made, that is major $$$)

What I am looking for is 3/16" OD steel tube with a ID no larger than 7/64" seamed or seamless I dont care.

Any suggestions? Direct links would be great.

Try McMaster-Carr or MSC industrial supply.Or call some of the steel warehouses like Pacific steel or Alaskin copper and brass. The first two are online and they have a HUGE selection of speacil sizes and sell short piecies. And no I don't be a good speller !

I had a quote come back with that same stuff, $3.50 per foot. Only issue is $150 min order.

It does look like that is as close as I am gonna get... anyone ever work with this stuff? Might be worth buying a small amount from onlinemetals before sinking $150 in something...

thanks. helped me out alot.

Why are you looking for heavy wall tubing? Is the normal brake line not strong enough sometimes?
