| *****CDW 2.2 Wheelbase Jigs***** -Crawler Design Works 1.9 and 2.2 Chassis Wheelbase Jigs During fabrication/mockup it is important to precisely set the wheelbase of your 1.9 and 2.2 crawler. The jig allows wheelbase adjustments from 8.5"(for 1.9) and 12.0"-12.5"( for 2.2) . The jig also features adjustable skid plate height slots. Just supply your own strip of 1/8”x2” flatstock cut to a width slightly wider than your axles and adjust it to your desired height. Also note the two holes at the bottom which can be used to bolt cross braces on if desired. The plates are precision laser cut from 6061-T6 aluminum and will work with most brands of 2.2 axles. Price is $26shipped. Last edited by yotachump; 08-10-2009 at 02:29 PM. |

This is awsome, I'd been thinking about something similar, but your skid plate holder makes this a must-have. Thanks for the innovation and for bringing us parts that no one else is making.

Nice! I made mine from some pieces of wood trim...but mine doesn't have that cool skid height feature, nor are they made of bling alum. |
