got your pm Doug, looks like you wasted your one good pm on me. I will get the money to you tonight. I can buy the drill bit and tap at any hardware store, right? |

Yes, buy a #39 drill and a 3mm tap. I can't remember the pitch of the tap but bring the typical hobby 3mm screw with you just hold the threads together to match them. I know Orchard has the tap, they only offer one 3mm pitch tap. I'm very very picky about taps but the hardware tap will work fine as long as you don't force the cut, use oil and back it out often. Put some motor oil in a spray can cap. Dip the tap in the oil and start it in the pilot hole. Stop at 3 - 3.5 turns and back it out completely. Shake the tap in the oil, (it'll drop the shavings and re-oil the tap). Ease the tap back in the new threads and cut 3 more turns. Repeat the steps until the taps turns freely. Ease the tap out and use WD-40 to blast the chips out of the newly threaded holes, then wipe down the axle tubes. If I could recommend a tap, it would be a spiral fluted tap, they pull the chips out the top of the hole. But the best place to get them would be online order of a machine tool house. |

It's very important to mount the clocker to the tube and then hold it against the correct side of the case to make sure it's indexing the correct direction. It scares me that the less experienced fabber will ruin a Berg tube. | |

All recent orders shipped Friday morning. I'm now running low only on the odd angled clockers, 25* and 30*. There are still a few left. Plenty of 20* and Ult clockers left though. |
