Thanks for looking at the new revolution of RC vehicle storage. The "Kling-On RC Rack" is the answer to a safe and secure way to store and display your vehicle. Designed and manufactured in Redding CA U.S.A.
The "Kling-On RC Rack" is made of quality .100" 5052 aluminum and will be offered in a matte black powder coating with custom powder coat and anodizing in the future).

Are you tired of your vehicle on the floor tripping your every step. Or maybe your two or three vehicles are taking up your valuable work areas? Do you have young kids like me that love to get their hands on our expensive "toys." Your vehicles deserve better!

The "Kling-On RC Rack" comes drilled and ready for installation on your garage, shop or hobby room wall (screws and sheet rock hardware not included.) With two sizes available and more to come we can make a rack for any of your vehicles. If you have a request please let us know.

Our small "Kling-On RC Rack" has an inside track width of 5-1/2" and an outside width of 10".(SCX10, 1.55, 1.9 and 2.2 vehicles)
The large "Kling-On RC Rack" has an inside track width of 7" and an outside width of 13".(Wraith, Short course trucks, 2.2 vehicles)

Here is a tire hanging for a day or two. The design spreads the weight through a much larger footprint on the tire not causing much of a flat spot.
Here is the tire as soon as it is rolled off the rack. Notice the minimal change in tire shape.

Will the large one be able to hold a 1/8th Nitro truggy or even the larger Cen GST 7.7? The things are quite heavy...

I believe the max width on the 1/8th nitro truggy is 18" outside to outside. Those will not fit as well as the GST7.7. I am working on a larger rack that will handle the 18" width and will handle the weight up to the 1/5th scale vehicles. The current racks have no problem with holding a 10+lb rig.

I really like your racks, but the one thing that bothers me a bit is having the wheels on a hanger. If a truck is sitting for a long period of time it tends to flatten the foams and cause a flat spot.

Have you concidered making one that holds a truck by the axles?
Its one reason why I choose to use the Proline or JConcepts RC stands.

But hanging them on a rack on a wall would certainly free up some shelf space.

The original designs for my crawlers were to use the axle. The issue is I couldnt come up with a design that was universal in nature and mounted on multiple axle types with different suspension mounts and link mounts. My racks will also work on Independent suspensions that dont have a solid axle to hang from.
But as far as the "flat spotting" on the tires and foams, it has not been an issue on any of my rigs. They sit in the car on the way to a GTG or Comp and they have taken back to shape or have new flat spots from the car ride.

Give them a try and I am sure you will be happy to have them!"thumbsup"
