Default What thickness?

I'm getting ready to build a Maxx based crawler, wondering if it would be better to use 1/8" or 1/4" aluminum plate for the chassis?

1/4 inch would be ridiculously thick.

1/8 inch aluminum chassis plates will be more than enough for you. Just make sure you have enough braces in your design to keep the chassis from flexing. Good luck!
