anyone used the newera rock vulture chassis

anyone used the rock vulture?
iv built some bomb proof axles out of a old tmax and im kinda reached a financial rock/hard sopt nw that im looking at chassis. it like 80 bucks and has a pede mount (the tranny im useing...the vxl model to be exact) it looks fairly stout and was originaly intended for clod axles so i asumed it would go well with the max ones given the size similarity. is it a pretty good chassis, keeping in mind im only bashing with it, no time for comps or anything in my calender year. iv tried building one but i dont have the time and im broke from a 6 month old baby boy so its gota be sub 150 range.

i also spent way to much on way axles. aluminum/titanium everything and dual servos per axle, iv got around 540 Ounces of torq per end, not bad huh? lol. the linkages took forever to set up right so they dont fight eachother or give the mounts any undue stress. i decided on this due to the price of a 333oz servo being like 150$+, just like in the real worly of 4x4, ingenuity will kick rich ass any day.

While I haven't used one, I have been by their shop which is about 20 min. from me. I have seen this chassis in person and it looks pretty good. Yes, the welds could be better (cleaner) and you will have to put a delrin skid on it so the bottom doesn't hang up, but as far as bang for the buck it looks like it would be tough to beat. Personally, I went with a Hustler chassis, but that cost a little over double what their asking for this one, so with your price considerations I would say go for it. Also, for what its worth, they are a good shop and I have purchased and used some of their other products with good results.
