Default e-maxx trans ?

Any reason why I should not use the aluminum input and output gears/shaft/idler?

Good spur/pinion combo with 55T or MM?

Thanks JoRo, my plan is to lock first gear, cut second gear down and eliminate second gear idler. I just realized (brain fart) my stack of t-maxx spurs well work, just need a few pinion gears. The plan is emaxx trans with txt axles, scale frame blah blah. Having never had a set of txt axles in my hand, it's all a (crack) pipe dream.

Most people run a 9/72 gear combo, I'm going to run 11/72 because I have more trails than rocks.
