Good idea and realization of your winch servo , have you had to modify the servo? or it was continuous rotation.

When do you use the winch, do you use the throttle at the same time?, is it possible to leave the summit in neutral when you use the winch?.
In 3906 Emaxx can be done but it is something not easily achieved.

The servo mod was easy if you would like i can post a link.I modded my tq4 (am) so that the two speed rocker controls the winch line in/out and added a button for on/off.the good part is i could use that for rear steer in the future rocker, left or right and the button when in the off position it centers the servo. No neutral but i have full control of throttle and steering. The servo i used is strong enough to drag the truck up stuff ,very rare i do that. it will lift the truck straight up off the ground. My truck is around 15 lbs now gotta put it on a diet...LOL

Would like to mount a winch like yours, Jaymann, in the Emaxx!, but do not know if I will have patience to use.
Very interesting your transmitter modification.

RC Hiking in the rain.
Trial 58:The path to the rain clouds:Through the fog.

I leave the 1/1. Prepare the Emaxx and starts to rain.

Maybe the cows food was expired ?. That smell!
This is is the true revenge of the cows when the farmer left the fencing closed.

Slippery wet rocks.

Suggestive photo. Way to where?

It's actually quite easy to do it. I did it to mine (mine is the older like yours) Look at my thread called MY SPIN ON AN E-MAXX I would post a direc
t link showing the picture but I'm not on a computer. Love the trails btw. You ever thought of changing the wheels and tires?

Yes, I tried Masher tires for a while, and some Moab 40 series, but I'm back to this kind of harder rubber.
I move a lot in areas of mud and snow.
Now i use a Moab (175 * 99 mm) with snow chains and spikes for the winter, and smaller wheels in summer.
I just bought a trencher Proline 3.8, I'm hoping they leave the customs offices .

RC Mountain Hiking #59. Aizkorri.

I do not think we all fit!, so I'll have to wait a bit. They do not seem to have much urgency to go.

Passing through a natural cave

One of the rocky areas that I like in this excursion

Trail to the first mountain pass.

Going up.

Our goal in the background, is a half-hour or 45 minutes of walking along a very rocky path.

King & Queens of the cliffs

The top of Aizkorri mountains.

Returning, the slope is strong and must walk with care.

You'll love the TRENCHERS man trust me. How do the tire chains perform in the mud?

Today I received the Proline Trencher tires and the first impression is that the rubber is very thin. On the one hand is very flexible and adherent b
ut otherwise seems to me not very robust on rocks with sharp edges. I will try soon.

Hike 60 Part 1, climbing "Brecha de Roland"

At the beginning of the hike, and we have snow

Also rocks

and Milestones

We go up by a beautiful snow-covered trail

Must reach the mountain pass by a really tough terrain

The emaxx across a frozen waterfall,

Image of Taillon Glacier, and our goal at the top.

Mountain pass and Sarradets refuge

I'm always excited to see trucktrial update this thread with more cool photos of the world's highest mileage E-maxx in amazing places. I am seriously impressed that the truck survives that kind of true offroad abuse.

So are you saying that you don't like them?

No, just that at first glance Trencher's rubber coating seems too thin to roll in these sharp rocks. I try them soon.

Oh I see your running it on every kind of terrain, mine seem fine to me, but they're not nearly as thick as the stock E-Maxx tires that's for sure.

I'm using the Axial 40 series rockster beadlock wheels. Idk about the water as I've never run mine at all except for once in the snow and it was fine the snow was starting to melt so it was wet but they stayed nice and dry. Hope this helps.

#62 Winter ascent to the peak of "Chinebral de Gamueta" 2329m.

rise from 1350 to 2329 m on snow and ice.

Departure on the grassland so cold that it seemed like walking on wood

First steps in a beech forest

Climb to a mountain pass known as "Passage of the Bear"

Very hard ascent zigzagging up the slope

-

Atxerito and Chinebral peaks, our goal.

approximation to the top, in the background

-

The first arrow points to a small shelter in the "Paso del Oso".
The second, aty the "Paso del Caballo",
The third arrow, the refuge of Linza, where we began the hike.

Descent path, that's just a mountain for approximation to peak.
