That's pretty much it, I built one as well. I honestly hate how wide the summits are, hated lugging it around. With this set up it’s more narrow and can fit in many places the summit cannot. However, with it being this narrow, it does have a tendency to roll over, no matter how much you adjust the suspension. The placement of the motor which creates a high center of gravity makes it impossible to perform like a race truck. But I didn’t build this to race, just to bash around and when I happen to get stuck, I lock the differentials and get myself out of the situation. Sometimes I feel like going on adventures and throw it in low gear and lock the differentials when its needed. This truck has to be my favorite out of all my RC’s. It’s a jack of all trades, but master of nothing.

nice bug body on that summit. was considering doing this with my topkick build I'm doing but keeping the 40series tires or would that rub the chassis?

yes, that would definitely rub on the chassis. Which is why I have narrow 2.2 wheels.

no problem, you should try it out if you get bored of the stock setup. I wouldn't ever go back to the stock setup as this is much more fun to toy around and lug around. It has helped me liquidate the rc's i have because this setup can pretty much do it all, and i dont mind it not being the best, but doing it all is good enough for me!
