Just get stiiffer springs. I have to ask why though. It will make your truck crawl worse. Afterall, that is what your on this site for right? Crawling? :? |

What exactly do you want to lift? The body, diffs or tranny? Lifting the body is as simple as using longer body posts. Lifting the diffs is as simple as locking the a-arms in a higher position. Or using larger diameter tires. Your tranny height can be set to nearly any height by the link system you use. Let us know exactly what you want to do and we can help you a little better. |

Yes, Pro-Comp has a RC lift kit now just for the maxx. Might want to send them an email asking more info about it and see if it is right for your application that you want to do. I believe Superlift is coming out with a lift also |

If you just want a looks/bashing/mud truck than your best bet would be to just lift the body up by getting longer posts, and then buying some huge tires (ie- Jumbos). Getting different springs/shocks isn't going to do anything but stiffen the ride. Or you could always wait for the ProComp lift to come out.... | |

Couldnt you just make some sort of spacer for where the chassis bolts to the axle and then run longer body posts. That would "lift" the chassis. Kind of like the way 1:1 lifts work. But it would all be custom stuff, cause I have never seen anything available for a EMAXX. And you would have to change the center drivelines out and maybe use either emaxx sliders or go with a shortened revo shafts. edit: I reread the post and see you are talking about diff clearance not the chassis. As for the diffs maybe if you ran longer shocks but your are going to have a problem with the sliders binding if you make them at a real steep angle. And may have to rework the steering. If you swap out the knuckles and shafts for revo knuckles then you will gain about 1/2 an inch width and alot more strenght all in one shot Last edited by donkeykong; 03-27-2006 at 04:31 PM. |
