Default Bomb proof drivetrain

This build is a large 1:6 scale Jeep that Is a JK 2DR. Kinda Rare!
The wheels are going to be the PITBULL XL that just came out. So you know this is a large build. Here is a parts list.
Traxxas Summit Trans
LEM dog carrier
Carbon Chassis
23mm wheel hubs
23mm 40 series beadlock rims
Hobbywing EZ run 1/8 Brushless system
SMC 9400Mah 60c Lipos
Losi XXL diffs with CNC Spider carrier and aluminum diff housing.
Aluminum roll cage
custom bumpers
LED lighting
3 ch radio
HV servos
Custom lipo mounts
Motor sound system
The pics will show the Revo diff as a idea of size and what it needs to be a better diff such as a aluminum diff housing and more spider gears in the spider carrier.

Looking into the size and also the number of gears that are in the Losi XXL Spider case housing. The X-Maxx is set up with the same. The gears take up the load better and also the housing holds up better.
The biggest upgrade to a Summit transmission is adding the LEM Dog Carrier!

This set up is going into a build I'm doing for the 2016 season. It will be using the Summit tranny with the Leading edge machine Dog Carrier installed. This takes out the extra play in the gears and is made of CNC aluminum.

The body is a rare 1/6 JK body and with the spare tire it has some weight with it. For this reason the drivetrain needs to be beefy.

These shocks look small next to the body but they are huge in size. They are the Losi XXL shocks.

I should point out that the tires will be large also. 7.5'' will work with this JK body. The wheelbase is 16''.
I'm going with the Rock Beat XL tires on this build. I'm also looking at the RC4WD Mickey Thompson 40 Series 3.8 Baja MTZ Scale Tire because of the better cost and they also are very scale.

Here is the body sitting on the Buggy that is upside down. it is on a 17.5'' wheel base. and has the RC4WD Roc Lox that are 8.58'' tall. I need a 16'' wheebase and smaller tires

Looks interesting. Is it going to be a slower rock crawler or the quicker basher type truck? I know stock the Xmaxx only does 30-35 mph or there shouts.

I will do both because of the two speed tranny. Just like my last few builds have been.
This video shows at the end that it has lots of top end speed also.

I just ordered the Hobbywing Max 8 combo it uses a 2200kv motor that is very much like the Leopard 4274 2200kv motor that I run in my buggy.

I ordered 2 sets of the Losi LOSB2256 Chassis Side Rails. the extra sets will give the Jeep the extra 1.5'' needed.
